I’ve been suffering with chronic bacterial vaginosis since 2006. MetroGel will work for about 3 months and then it comes back. On top of my BV I get regular yeast infections too. This has wreaked havoc on my vaginal area.
Back in 2007 I noticed that whenever I went #2 and wiped that my anal area (not my actual anus) would start itching just like my vaginal area did.
By 2008 the problem increased and to this day I can’t go #2 without having EXTREME discomfort in my anal area. I talked to a nurse about it and she says there are NO creams out there that can help this. The only way I find relief is through taking a hot shower immediately after using the bathroom.
I’ve tried Preporation H and Tucks after wipe. Neither have helped. Having to shower after going #2 is disrupting my life. Is there anyone else out there that suffers from this particular BV related issue? Did you eventually get help from the medical field? I’ve never tested positive for any STDs. Thank you.

Hello,
We always suggested Balneol cleansing lotion to our patients/customers in the pharmacy, I have used it myself and it works really well. Just put it on a wash cloth or even bathroom tissue and wipe the area after a bowel movement.

Did you had have anal sex and same time internal sex (Vulva) ? if so can be skin disease.
Other than that it can be cause of toilet paper or towel that is not clean during used .
How ever these area contain fresh meat ,mean injury in those section it get very fast infected and it Progress very fast to other sections.
This type of skin diseases that get itching during dry condition must be stay fresh for while till get better .A ointment name cortisone Stout it can be help full but not permanently ((AND SHOULD BE USED ONLY ON THE SKIN NOT INTERNALLY))
You should contact a skin care doctor as soon as possible .
Do not do sex at all till get better , it is epidemically disease .
Only cause of this problem is unhealthy(dirty) contact of material or sex .

You have a tear (wound) in your anus, so whenever you go #2 it gets contaminated with that stuff and become so painful, when you take a shower you just clean that wound from dirty stuff so you feel better.. you have to see your doctor..
