The first thing you want to know is that the guide, written by chronic bacterial vaginosis (BV) sufferer Kristina Tomlin, has received more positive reviews than any other BV natural treatment guide available.

Why is this BV relief ebook so successful? First of all, the 3-step plan detailed in this guide is fast, effective and safe. Many devastated women with BV managed to free themselves after years of suffering from the vaginal disorder within a very short time after following Kristina’s method.

The author Kristina had herself suffered from BV for a long 8 years. After she decided to take her health matters into her own hands, she has done enormous amount of research on bacterial vaginosis. This guide is basically a result of years of research of websites, medical journals, articles, books, medical textbooks, and consulting with doctors from around the world who specialize in this condition.

Kristina has put all the relevant information needed to eradicate BV into her ebook. You’ll get a good understanding about the condition, what it is, why it happens, why does it keep reoccuring, and how you can stop BV completely without using conventional drugs.

Kristina’s 3-step plan is a simple, direct and natural method to deal with bacterial vaginosis. Her plan involves using ingredients or items that are easily available in local grocery stores or health food shops. Some may already be sitting in your kitchen cabinets. The method is not free, of course, but it is certainly much cheaper than having to buy medicines or over-the-counter vaginal gels and creams over the long term.

You may have read from the internet about all the , but the information is scattered here, there and everywhere, and without a systematic and proven effective plan.

Thanks to Kristina, she combined all the vital pieces together into a simple yet amazingly effectve 3-step plan that aims at the root causes of bacterial vaginosis. If you want to, you can spend agonizing hours, days or weeks to find similar information on the internet. But if you can stop the wet, itchy and smelly vagina in just 3 short days, there is no reason to put up with those distressing symptoms any longer. Many women found quick relief from the uncomfortable symptoms of bacterial vaginosis after they applied what was taught in the book.

Kristina went beyond the 3-step plan to provide a long-term BV prevention strategy. Most of the time, bacterial vaginosis recurs due to certain triggers, perhaps something you unawarely do every day that puts you at risk for bacterial vaginosis infection. To complement Kristina’s BV preventive measures in the guide, you’ll also be receiving addtional ebooks as bonuses. One of the bonus guides will teach you how to relieve stress, and one on yeast infection relief. By equipping yourself with knowledge in these two areas will actually help a great deal in preventing recurring bacterial vaginosis. When you buy Kristina’s ebook, you’ll be entitled to her free online support, which has limited availability. You can write to her, any time, any day, if you have questions about her plan.

If you want to a complete cure to your bacterial vaginosis faster using a safe and all-natural method, then the guide may just be the solution you need right now.

Bacterial vaginosis is such a condition which can be found in most of the women who have reached the age of 15.

The women have the chance to suffer from this infection till the age of 44. Every women suffering from bacterial vaginosis require some kind of . This relief will not only help them to get rid of the problem temporarily but will also remove the painful condition forever.

There are a lot of reasons for the growth of the harmful bacteria in the vagina. It is sometimes due to the foods that we consume.

So you need to keep away from those foods that tend to increase the bad bacteria in the vagina.

For bacterial vaginosis relief you need to cut the intake of sugar as much as possible. You also need to avoid the processed foods as well as white flour.

You even have to say no to the canned fruit and the snacks as well as the syrups. One of the great ways for bacterial vaginosis relief is the use of distilled oils. These oils are usually extracted from the plants.

These oils can be mixed with some base oils. Once they are mixed they create healing oils. You can use these oils in the affected area of the vagina.

These oils will not only provide relief but will also treat the bacterial vaginosis. Other than these oils you can use grapefruit extract.

This is also an anti bacterial as well as anti fungal ingredient. But make sure that you do not suffer from citrus allergy otherwise you cannot use this extract. Another remedy for bacterial vaginosis relief is the use of probiotic.

The probiotic helps to kill the harmful bacteria with the help of the good bacteria. This is a quick way of bacterial vaginosis relief.

If you like me who has had bacterial vaginosis before, you may understand what I am talking about here about the frustration I have. When you see your doctor, I have been given antibiotic metronidazole to treat my bv. At first, I was thinking antibiotic should help me to cure bv. It does cure my bv the first time. However, my nightmare comes after the first cure though. What I have experienced is that I end up going through multiple courses of the drug when bv recur, and each time your doctor kept insisting that the treatment would work, and the dosage is getting heavy each time.

As we know we need to take the antibiotics for a complete cycle. My doctor told me to take it for several days to prevent the chance of missing some bacteria. The first time was very effective. After taking the antibiotic for the complete cycle, my symptom was gone. I was so happy to get rid of those fishy odor.

What upset me was that these symptoms come and go. The next time I saw my doctor again, she gave me a stronger antibiotic because it seemed like the previous dosage was not effective anymore. Taking antibiotics is not an enjoyable thing to take. It has its side effects. In addition, I was worrying to take stronger antibiotics each time bv recur. Thus, I decided to investigate alternatives for treating bacterial vaginosis on my own, and I was shocked by what I found. Metronidazole, the medication recommended for treating for bacterial vaginosis was banned for use in animals in the EU. The reason is because it has been proven to cause cancer.

I was shocked with this finding! I am taking something that is prohibited to be used on animals. I wonder why my doctor insisted that it would cure my symptom without considering the potential risk of using this prescription.

I did some more research and discovered that metronidazole had been found to both change genetic material, and cause cancer when tested on animals. Although no evidence showing it has direct relation of causing cancer in human, it may because not enough research has been done on human.

To protect myself from exposing to this potential risk, I continued to look for other alternative vaginosis remedies. What I have found is that there are some natural ways for treating bv. The reason that it is working is because instead of killing the bacteria, it adjusts the pH value in your body so that the bad bacteria cannot dominate that area. I have also found that some feminine hygiene products do more harm than good to me. Now I understand how to keep myself away from bv by changing my daily habbits.

The Remedy for Bacterial Vaginosis
A great number of women who think of having an infection with yeasts would actually be contracted with bacterial vaginosis (BV). BV which affects approximately 10 % of the women in general, and up to 30 % of the expectant mothers, is the most frequent cause of a vaginal flow. An excessive growth of the bacteria in the vagina can be associated with vaginal itching, a feeling of burn, a flow of an unpleasant fishy odor. However, some women have BV, but do not feel any symptom.

We really do not know how women contract BV, but it is believe that it occurs something which disturbs the normal vaginal medium. Usually, the bacteria of which the effect is beneficial and those of which the effect is harmful form a stable population in the vagina, but when something occurs which changes the number of the good bacteria, the other bacteria dominate and involve the appearance of BV.

What increases the risk of BV? Certain factors like a vaginal shower and the use of a D.I.U. (intra-uterine device) at ends of contraception can increase the risk of BV. The role of the sexual activity in the transmission of the VB was not conclusive, and generally expert does not think that BV is a sexually transmitted infection. However, we really do not understand why a woman who has new sexual partners or multiple partners can run a greater risk to contract the BV.

BV is not limited to simply starting some unpleasant symptoms. It can also predispose the woman with:
•	to be infected by the HIV after an exposure to the virus;
•	to transmit the HIV to a sexual partner (if it is already infected by the HIV);
•	to give birth prematurely (if it were reached VB during its pregnancy);
•	to have a baby whose weight of birth is lighter;
•	to contract an infection of the placenta during a pregnancy;
•	to acquire an infection of the uterus after a pregnancy;
•	to develop a more serious infection, like an acute salpingite or pelvipéritonite following the placement of a D.I.U., a biopsy of the uterine mucous membrane or processes to treat polyps, a cancer, or a haemorrhage;
•	to be infected by the bacterium chlamydia or to contract gonorrhoea.

Your doctor will establish the diagnosis of BV by means of a physical examination and some analyses in laboratory. BV is usually treated with antibiotics.
To reduce your risk to contract BV, you should avoid using vaginal showers and limiting the number of your sexual partners.

BV can cause serious complications if it is not treated suitably. Consequently, it is very important to see your doctor to obtain a diagnosis and treatment when you note the appearance of symptoms like a vaginal flow, an itching or an irritation.

People have been wondering whether bacterial vaginosis is sexual transmitable or not. In other words, is it possible for men to have male bacterial vaginosis and pass this bacteria to female during sexual intercourse? The following article will give you the answer.

Men Bacterial Vaginosis and Other Misconceptions

Bacterial vaginosis is not considered a sexually transmitted disease (STD) since women who have never engaged in sexual activity can develop BV.

BV is simply caused by a reduction of good bacteria that normally live within the vaginal environment helping to protect it. Followed by an increase in bad bacteria that (which also normally live within the vaginal environment in reduced numbers) cause the major symptoms of increased discharge and sometimes a fishy vaginal odor.

A man cannot get bacterial vaginosis. It is generally thought that men cannot transmit bacterial vaginosis but they can play a role in aggravating the condition. Treating a boyfriend or treatment for a male partner is unnecessary.

It is suspected that women involved in sexual relations with another woman (or lesbian relationships) can spread or initiate BV in other women they are having intimate contact with.

You cannot spread bacterial vaginosis simply by kissing. BV by its nature is strictly limited to the vaginal region but the infection can spread up into the fallopian tubes causing difficulties with pregnancies or future attempts at pregnancy.

If you have an infection of the mouth it may likely be what is commonly called thrush (in children) or is related to a yeast infection. A yeast infection is different from bacterial vaginosis. A yeast infection is caused by an overgrowth of yeast within the body or a particular area and BV is an overgrowth of bad bacteria within the vaginal environment.

Food cannot cause BV and contracting the infection is not based on hygiene or other normal methods of keeping yourself clean, but it is thought that douching and other feminine products can play a role in upsetting the balance of the vaginal environment, leading to bacterial vaginosis.

There should be not lesions or sores if all you have is bacterial vaginosis. It may be possible to develop some irritation or inflammation or that scratching the area excessively may cause sores. But any sores are not directly related to BV and if you have sores you probably have some other condition and should see a doctor.

Bacterial vaginosis is the most common genital tract health problem among women of reproductive age. There are many reasons causing vaginal discharge and fishy odor, but BV is the most prevalent cause of these health problems. BV has been associated with many obstetric complications such as preterm labour, premature rupture of membrances, and postpartum endometritis. Screening the presence of bacterial vaginal infection as early as possible is crucial for curing this problem.

BV is a common problem if you are having these high risk factors: smoking, sexual activity, or vaginal douching. Research has indicated that women who are sexually active have a higher rate of contracting BV than virginal women. Also, if you smoke, you are more likely to have BV. In other words, some how smoking will affect the balance of these bacteria population within your body.

When you are healthy, your vaginal area will contain both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. One of these species which is know as lactobacillus is believed to be the good bacteria within your body that protect you from getting infection, and it is also the crucial factor to govern the pH value in the vagina. Usually, if you have bacterial vaginosis, your vaginal pH value is greater than 4.5. In other words, your vaginal area becomes less acidic. When you are having bacterial vaginosis, the number of lactobacilli is decreased, whereas the number of the pathogenic bacteria is increased.

Because of the serious consequences of having bacterial vaginosis, the screening process of bacterial vaginosis in pregnancy is important. When you are pregnant, it is common to have vaginal discharge. However, if you have this problem persistently during pregnancy, it is recommended that you go see your doctor to screen for lower genital infection. After treatment, you should have a followup testing after a month to ensure that the problem is fully treated.

For the treatment you have two options. One is to use oral treatment and the other is to use vaginal treatment. Research results have shown that oral treatment has a greater cure rate than vaginal therapy. However, when you are pregnant, you need to consider the side effect that may have on your embryo with these treatments. If possible, seek for the natural cures for bacterial vaginosis is preferred.

Home Remedies For Bv Infection - Treat Bacterial Vaginosis Naturally

It is widely known that home remedies for BV infection are a better alternative treatment than antibiotics. Bacterial vaginosis is caused by an imbalance of bacteria within the vagina. There can be various causes of this, including something as simple as over-washing, a change in shower gel or a new sexual partner. When this imbalance occurs, the bad bacteria which is present even in a healthy vagina can overgrow and cause the typical symptoms such as itching, burning and the unpleasant fishy odor.

A healthy vagina contains a balance of “good” and “bad” bacteria, with the good keeping the bad in check. When antibiotics are used, both the good and bad bacteria are killed off which means that when bad bacteria naturally begins to repopulate the vagina, the good bacteria will not have built up to a sufficient level to control the bad.

This is why over 70% of women who take antibiotics to get rid of bacterial vaginosis have a repeat infection within a couple of weeks of stopping treatment.

There are a number of simple home remedies for BV infection which you can try right away which should give some symptomatic relief and will help re-balance the natural flora of the vagina.

* Soak a tampon in live natural yogurt and insert into the vagina
* Eating live natural yogurt can also help the good bacteria to thrive
* Take a bath in warm water into which a couple of cups of cider vinegar have been added
* Tea tree oil pessaries can act as a natural antiseptic and have been found to be helpful

There is no doubt that the best way to get rid of bacterial vaginosis is by using natural methods. Good home remedies for BV infection will work by quickly strengthening and enhancing the body’s own natural defense mechanisms thus enabling the bad bacterial to be killed off naturally. In addition, the strategies used can help prevent future attacks by ensuring that your natural defenses are in tip-top condition.

Bacteria are all over the places. They live not only outside our bodies. They also live inside our body. Thus, bacterial infection is a common problem among many people both men and women. For women, bacterial vaginosis is a common bacterial infection. Natural cures for bv is the most recommended approach for treating this problem. Only one tiny bacteria is sufficient to infect us. However, you have to understand that not all bacteria are bad to our health. Some bacteria are good single cell organism that helps us to digest food, and some will produce certain chemicals to help our digestive system to function normally. Therefore, we can find many of these bacteria living in our intestines.

Although some bacteria are good, if they run into some places like our small intestine or urinary tract, then they will cause us troubles. Depends on the type of the bacteria, some intestinal bacteria can be life threatening. BV infection also known as urinary tract infection can lead to other problems for women. To know what treatment should be employed, you should know how to distinguish between intestinal bacterial and bacterial vaginosis infection.

First, intestinal bacterial infection is usually caused by food-borne bacteria. Food that has been exposed to the air for too long and mishandled food can nourish various types of bacterium. For example, cholera bacterium is originated from dirty living conditions and undercooked shellfish. The symptoms of getting intestinal bacterial infection will usually have vomiting, abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and even leg cramps. Using antibiotics is usually the treatment for this type of infection. However, for infections by the cholera bacteria, oral rehydration salts are used as well to compensate the water lost during the infection.

Bacterial vaginosis infection is different. Usually, it happens mostly on sexually-active women who have anal sex. When pathogenic bacteria are introduced into the vagina area, the good bacteria that are responsible for maintaining our body chemical balance will cease to function properly. During hot weather, the risk of having pathogenic bacteria getting into the vagina will increase. Also, poor hygiene will also lead to this problem. When you have bv infection, the most common symptoms are having a foul or fishy odor from the vagina area. You will also feel itching and irritated. To cure bv, rubbing Cleocin 2% vaginal cream can help. Another conventional treatment is to take antibiotics. However, this may kill the good bacteria in your body as well. Thus, you will be like to have bv to recur. Thus, applying natural approach for bv is the best treatment.

Bacterial vaginosis causes a great deal of embarrassment and discomfort for nearly 700,000 women in the United States every year. Some estimates suggest that roughly 1 in 3 women in the U.S. will get bacterial vaginosis (BV) at some point in their lives.

What are the symptoms of BV? The two most common symptoms are an unpleasant “fishy” odor and that is often accompanied by vaginal discharge. These two symptoms can lead to a good deal of embarrassment for many BV sufferers. Bacterial vaginosis can also be accompanied by more severe symptoms, such as vaginal irritation, itching, and cramping.

Before the main bacterial vaginosis causes are addressed, it is important to know why BV occurs. Bacterial vaginosis develops when there is a reduction of the healthy bacteria (primarily the Lactobacillus species) in the vagina. These healthy bacteria are the predominant bacteria in the vagina and thrive in an oxygen-rich environment.

As the healthy bacteria begin to decrease, other bacteria, such as Bacteroides and Gardnerella vaginalis, become more prevalent. These “other” bacteria, which thrive in an environment with less oxygen, are always present in the vagina but are less predominant in normal, healthy vaginal conditions. It is when these series of events take place that BV actually occurs, and the symptoms then become noticeable.

What are the main bacterial vaginosis causes? There are a variety of things that can potentially lead to a reduction of the healthy bacteria in the vagina, and in turn can cause bacterial vaginosis. They are:

• Multiple sex partners

• Female sex partners

• Use of an intrauterine device for birth control

• Not using a condom

• Use of a douche

• Smoking

The list above includes the most widely accepted activities which can potentially lead to BV, but there are a several other potential causes of bacterial vaginosis that are not as prevalent but still may be something for you to consider. These bacterial vaginosis causes include a deficiency of iron while pregnant, the wearing of a “thong” as an undergarment (a thong can potentially introduce germs from the anus, due to a recent bowel movement, into the vagina by way of a rubbing and moving thong), and in younger girls, BV has been known to develop due to the strep virus, as well as poor hygiene (improper wiping) after bowel movements.

Outside of the embarrassing symptoms of unpleasant odors and vaginal discharge, as well as the discomfort that sometimes (not always) accompanies a case of bacterial vaginosis, there are three important risk factors that bacterial vaginosis causes. First, for pregnant women, BV increases the risk of a miscarriage and/or preterm labor. Second, bacterial vaginosis has been associated with the onset of PID. This usually only occurs in women who have BV and undergo a serious pelvic or vaginal procedure. Finally, bacterial vaginosis increases the likelihood of contracting a sexually transmitted disease when someone with BV is exposed to one.

Bacterial vaginosis is in many cases simply an inconvenience and embarrassment, yet, as has been mentioned, it can also lead to serious health risks. The bottom line is BV can be a nuisance and much more. Women should do their best to take note of the bacterial vaginosis causes, take the necessary precautions, and seek treatment when necessary.

Quick Treatment Facts:

In ¼ of the women who get BV it goes away on its own. Bacterial vaginosis treated with antibiotics often times comes back shortly after treatment if it goes away at all. Many women who seek traditional treatment are left frustrated after the ineffective results they experience, and look for alternative methods of treatment.

Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment Options

Possible treatment options for Bacterial Vaginosis include different antibiotics as well as natural treatments. This article discusses both as treatment options.

Most often antibiotics will be prescribed by a doctor when finding a treatment for Bacterial Vaginosis. The most widely used antibiotic is known as Metronidazole. This antibiotic can be taken by mouth with a pill or it can be also be applied to the infected area as a gel. Both the pill and the gel have been proven to be good treatments. Another antibiotic that is used is Clindamycin, as a vaginal cream. Many times, the best treatment often has the worst side effects. In the case of the previously mentioned medication options, the most effective treatment is believed to be the oral metronidazole pills. However, it can cause some unwanted side effects, although these effects are usually minor compared to bv symptoms.

Metronidazole should not be used by women early on in their pregnancy. It is believed to cause negative effects on the fetus. It should also be avoided by mothers who are breastfeeding, as it could possibly harm the baby. The antiobiotic gels are not known to have the same side effects, nevertheless, yeast vaginitis can occur from using the gels.

The downside of using antibiotics is that they don’t guarantee that you will rid yourself from BV for good. In fact, it is very common for women to have recurrent bacterial vaginosis after being treated with antibiotics. Statistically, over 50% of wome successfully treated have vagionsis symptoms again within 1 year. Unfortunately the cause of these recurrent episodes is not well known. Many women have reported that the only way they were able to cure BV for good was to use home remedies.

Another antibiotic that is less well-known and still in a testing phase in the United States is Tinidazole. It has been used in other countries and in Europe to succesfully treat bacterial vaginosis. The promising thing about Tinidazole is that it appears to have less side effects than other treatment options.

Natural treatments are becoming more popular. There are many home remedies that women have reported to use successfuly, such as tea tree oil, olive leaf extract, garlic, etc. However, there are resources and downloadable instructions available to make your own home remedy. Unfortunately, these instructions come with a small cost, but that cost is usually less that a doctor’s visit and may be a worthy option to pursue.

Sometimes just a change in diet and activity can drastically reduce symptoms of bacterial vaginosis. As a final note, if you think you are having symptoms of BV, make sure you get a proper diagnosis, as the best treatment option depends on if you really have BV or just a yeast infection.
